Thanks to the support of the Per Fumum Endowment Fund, Institut Pasteur and AP-HP Lariboisière have spent three years studying the phenomenon of persistent anosmia caused by coronavirus.

Entitled ETOC(Étude des Troubles Olfactifs et Cognitifs), this study has made it possible to collect and characterize the "olfactory neuronal signatures" of patients by measuring olfactory evoked potentials (OEP), a method still unknown in France due to its technical nature.

This research, both fundamental and clinical, establishes a diagnosis that will enable practitioners to offer effective olfactory rehabilitation.
